1. How PVSize Makes Money
PVSize is a free resource. We do not charge readers for access to our calculators, guides, or data. To sustain our operations while keeping content free, we generate revenue through:
- Clearly labeled sponsored placements for solar brands or equipment providers
- Opt-in lead partnerships where users explicitly consent before project information is shared
- Future affiliate or commerce partnerships only when clearly disclosed and relevant
None of these revenue sources influence our editorial decisions. We maintain a strict firewall between our commercial and editorial operations.
2. Sponsored Content vs. Editorial Content
PVSize clearly distinguishes between sponsored content and independent editorial content:

3. Affiliate and Commerce Disclosure
PVSize keeps user-facing calculators free and open. Future affiliate or commerce links may be evaluated only when they are clearly disclosed, relevant to the page, and separated from calculator outputs.
4. Mandatory Disclosure Banner
Any PVSize page that contains sponsored, affiliate, or partner-linked content must display a clear disclosure before the relevant content:
This banner appears on articles containing sponsored, partner-linked, or affiliate-linked content. It is never hidden, collapsed, or placed below the fold.
5. What We Don't Do
- We do not accept payment to alter, remove, or inflate product ratings
- We do not publish "advertorials" disguised as independent reviews
- We do not use affiliate links in calculator results or data visualizations
- We do not place affiliate links in the /insights/china-brands/ B2B section (kept ad-free for credibility with manufacturer partners)
